Palm Pilot Dial-Up (PPP) Setup

Dial Up Configuration

  1. Click "Applications", choose "Prefs".
  2. Pull-down "Network".
    • Fill in a service name such as "My ISP",
    • Fill in your username/password, and the
    • Enter your local phone number (see basic settings below)
  3. Click "Details".
    • Set Connection type to "PPP", Idle timeout to"Power Off"
    • DNS numbers to the numbers below
    • Ensure IP Address "Automatic" is checked.
  4. Pull down "Modem".
    • Set up your modem.
