Setting up a static IP address in  Win95/98

1. Double Click on "My Computer

2. "Then double click on "Dial-Up Networking"

3.  Then right click on the connection you want

4.  Left mouse click on properties.
and you will get the following screen:

5.  Select the "server types" tab and make it look like this by selecting and deselecting the necessary boxes.

Then click on 'TCP/IP Settings"
and you will get the following screen:


Now click on "Specify an IP address" and the IP Address field will light up, Now type in the IP address we sent you.
Then click "OK"
Then close the Connection box & My Computer, your done!
